Director, Sponsored Research Administration
Nili Tannenbaum serves as Internet2's Director of Sponsored Research Administration. In this capacity, she directs all research administration policies and procedures, oversees functions for collaborative research initiatives, serves as primary liaison with funding agencies and partner organizations, manages institutional compliance for sponsored research activities, coordinates all research-related writing (including white papers and official Letters of Support), and facilitates research support for member organizations.
Nili brings a long history of higher education experience in research administration, policy development and implementation, coordination of interdisciplinary and multi-institutional research collaborations, and oversight of complex compliance obligations. Prior to her tenure at Internet2, Nili served as Director of External Relations and Communications at the University of Michigan School of Social Work and as Assistant Director of Research and Graduate Studies at the University of Michigan Medical School.
