Internet2 Member Meetings provide unique opportunities for representatives across our diverse community to meet in person. Participants represent the complete spectrum of Internet2 membership including university, corporate, and affiliate members, as well as international partners. For those who like to live on the cutting edge, Joint Techs meetings, sponsored jointly by the ESnet Coordinating Committee (ESCC) and Internet2, offer advanced network engineers and researchers the chance to share in-depth technical presentations and demonstrations of the very highest in high-performance networking applications. Event Spotlight
The Call for Participation for the Summer 2012 ESCC/Internet2 Joint Techs is now open! Hosted by Stanford University on July 15-19, 2012, the program for this summer’s edition will feature an entire day (July 17) focusing on Software Defined Networking (SDN). The remainder of the meeting brings together presentations on Integration of Services Across Multiple Networks and Convergence; as usual, we will accept a few talks in such areas as performance/measurement, security, and IPv6. In all submissions, a focus on campus networking is deemed valuable. As always, several in-depth tutorials, working group and BoF sessions, side meetings, and co-located hands-on workshops (including at least one on OpenFlow) will be offered to attendees.
