Bachula from Internet2 will discuss
current higher education network security initiatives and
provide commentary on the key issues in cybersecurity and
cybertrust. Roberts and Bachula will focus on the EDUCAUSE
Networking 2003 presentation given by Peter Freeman,
Assistant Director of the National Science Foundation and
head of the
Computer and Information Science and Engineering (CISE) Directorate.
In addition, the speakers will examine and discuss comments
made during Networking 2003 by Nancy
Wong, Director, and Richard
Marshall, Deputy Director, Office of Planning and Partnerships,
United States Department of Homeland Security.
