While current technology to assess network performance characteristics
is quite primitive, there is work under way to provide tools
and infrastructure that will allow us to better understand
performance issues. The February Virtual Briefing will focus
on current activities to determine performance capabilities
in end-to-end environments and current research in new measurement
systems.
