Summer 2012 ESCC/Internet2 Joint Techs

The Summer 2012 ESCC /Internet2 Joint Techs is being hosted by Stanford University, from Sunday afternoon, July 15 through Thursday, July 19. The meeting will be held at the Li Ka Shing Conference Center located within the Li Ka Shing Center for Learning and Knowledge.

This Meeting

Proposals: The focus areas for talks at this Joint Techs are Software Defined Networking, Integration of Services Across Multiple Networks, and Convergence. Other areas of continued interest include Security, Performance/Measurement, and IPv6. Preference will be given to submissions that demonstrate relevance to campus networking concerns. Please feel free to submit proposals on those topics, as they will be duly considered. We are holding a few spaces for proposals on other relevant topics, so please do not let the primary focus areas limit your submission. Lightning Talks: A 20- to 30-minute slot is offered on Wednesday morning for various Lightning Talks.  A Lightning Talk is a sub-5-minute talk on a topic of your choice – anything interesting, timely, or even a bit off the wall.  Proposals are solicited during the workshop; successful candidates will be informed on Tuesday before the Reception.  Slides are welcome but not required.
