Session Abstract RouteFlow is a open source tool that converts a OpenFlow switch into a Layer 3 router. RouteFlow utilizes routing software such as Quagga to build a virtual topology that is mirrored to a physical topology. It allows for the deployment of flexible, inexpensive and easy to administrate networks. RouteFlow networks can be used as testbeds for networking research but also simplify the administrative complexity of production networks.

This talk will give an overview of the RouteFlow architecture, ways that it can be used in practical applications and a demonstration of a RouteFlow network.
