Special Passover Holiday Accommodations
Internet2 is aware that the 2011 Spring Member Meeting conflicts with the Jewish holiday of Passover. We understand what an important holiday this is for many families and sincerely apologize and regret this unfortunate overlap. While we can't take the place of your own family seder, we would like to make every effort to provide attendees celebrating this holiday with as many Passover resources as possible during your stay in the Washington, D.C., area.
Kosher for Passover Meals
Certified Kosher for Passover meals will be made available to attendees both for planned meeting meal functions and by special request for dinners at the hotel at no charge. To request these meals, or if you have any questions, please include your request in the "special needs" section of the meeting registration form (when it becomes live) or send an email directly to Traci Downey, Internet2 Event Planning Manager. If possible, we ask that you submit these requests by April 4, 2011.
Local Passover Seders
Internet2 has coordinated with Jconnect, a resource of the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington, D.C., to make available a comprehensive list of community and family seders in the area that you can attend. The lists include seders for various denominations at convenient locations in the Washington, D.C., metro area.
Please review the lists at your convenience. Internet2 would be happy to take care of all arrangements for your attendance to the seder of your choice. You can send your request to Traci Downey, Internet2 Event Planning Manager. If you have any other questions about local Passover resources, please contact Francie at Jconnect by phone at (301) 348-7356 or email jconnect@shalomdc.org.

Interfaith Passover Seder
Based on community feedback, Internet2 is helping to organize a Passover Seder on the evening of Monday, April 18th that will be open to all meeting attendees and all faiths. The Seder will be held at the Crystal Gateway Marriott at 6:30pm EDT. If you are interested in attending the Seder, please indicate this during the registration process where noted on the online form. If you have any questions, please send an email to Cecelia Dove.
If you have any suggestions for other ways we might help accommodate your stay during Passover, please email Traci Downey.
