Internet2 Community Solutions Challenge at SC11

Do you have the best networking challenge? An iPad could be yours!

Submit your Challenge! [Closed]

At SC11, Internet2 is celebrating the startup of our new Research Support Service, completion of the world’s first 100G transcontinental network, and the introduction of community cloud services.

Even as these new community resources become available, the Internet2 team wants your input on what we need to address next. We want to know what you are up to. If you’ve hit a snag along the way or realized a new challenge that needs to be solved, we’d like to understand how we can provide the expertise and resources to keep your research on track.

This year’s Internet2 booth at SC has been designed for collaboration and real-time problem solving—we’ve created a stage for leaders from our community to share their ideas with SC attendees and we’ve created conversation space for lively discussions among members of the R&E networking community and senior Internet2 staff.

To bring our opportunities and challenges together at SC, Internet2 is issuing a challenge for SC attendees to submit their largest challenge ideas that Internet2 can address to improve your research or network opportunities. On Tuesday evening, Wednesday morning and Wednesday afternoon, Internet2 staff will announce the top 3 challenges, propose how we might organize to address them, and award the winner a gift card for an iPad 2.

Maybe you’ll walk away with a solution. Maybe a connection to a working group that is exploring the same issue. Maybe an iPad. (Or, maybe all three!)
