Airport Information
Fairbanks International Airport is located just 15 minutes south of the campus, about 5.16 miles. Most flights are either on Delta or Alaska Airlines.

Delta Airlines
Airline reservations can be booked through Conlin Travel at 734-477-6046 or 800-936-1587. Please indicate that your travel is for the Summer 2011 Joint Techs in Fairbanks, AK.
Airline discounts will be effective from July 7, 2011 through July 17, 2011. Any Delta flights originating from Atlanta - Cincinnati - Detroit - Memphis - Salt Lake City - Minneapolis will receive a 5% discount off the full/non-restricted fare and 2% off restricted fares. All other Northwest/Delta flights will receive a 7% discount off the full/non-restricted fare and 5% off restricted coach fares. Discounts are available for base fares greater than $120.00 each way. Round trip travel is required and discounts only applicable to U.S./Canada originations.
A 5% discount off Alaska Airlines full/non-restricted fares, except companion and other promotional fares, is also available..
Transportation/Parking
Plentiful parking is available behind the Museum and around residence halls (Moore-Bartlett-Skarland Building) and the Cutler Apartment Complex if you have chosen to stay in an apartment. Permits are valid in any regular decal parking lot (yellow areas on the campus map). Permits are NOT valid in Gold lots. Meters: Please note that permit purchase does NOT exempt anyone from paying meters.

Permits are available from one of eight (8) Parking Permit Kiosks located on campus:
- Thompson Drive Pull-out (off Geist Rd)
- Nenana Lot (across from SRC)
- Taku Lot (off Farmers Loop)
- U-Park Lot ( off University Ave)
- Museum Lot (2) (off Yukon Drive)
- Elvey Lot (Westridge)
- Reichardt Lot (Natural Sciences)
Payment by credit card (visa/master card), coins (US currency only: $1.00, $0.25, $0.10, $0.05), bills (US currency only: $10.00, $5.00, $10.00). Remove permit and place on passenger side of dashboard, face up and clearly visible through the windshield.

Housing: Block Information
Housing for this event is through the UAF Campus Housing Office.
Note: Your dorm room will include bed sheets, pillow, pillow case, blanket, washcloth, hand towel, and bath towel. Small packets of shampoo/conditioner and soap will also be provided (more available at Housing Office if needed).

Check-in is at the Conference Services desk, located in the Moore Bartlett Skarland (MBS) complex, 732 Yukon Drive on the UAF campus, and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel or change your reservation, please contact us at least 48 hours prior to check-in. If less than 48 hours notice is given for changes or cancellation, your card will be charged for one night stay. Information on charges for room damage is HERE.
