  • Session Evaluation
Session Abstract This panel will discuss IPv6 deployment in campus environments. Panel will consist of a moderator and 4 panelists to address specific topics. Some of the topic areas that will be covered: 1) Which IPv6 services/applications are enabled on your campus? 2) IPv6-realated security issues. 3) What are the most challenging aspects of your deployment? 4) Wireless - how did/do you plan deployment? 5) Herding the cats: High level org view from CIO/CTO, President, etc. - how do you get all players across campus on the same page and working together? 6) How is your Help Desk handling IPv6 issues, and which issues are the most common? Each panelist will briefly describe their experiences, give pointers, lessons learned, etc. (no long power points from each panelist.) Goal is to allow time for Q&A and discussion between panelists and audience members at the end of the session.
