Airport Information
Greenville-Spartanburg Airport (GSP) is the nearest international airport, located off Interstate 85, 50 miles (approx 45 mins) from the Conference Center and Inn at Clemson University. Other regional airports include Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) in Charlotte, NC, and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), in Atlanta. Both airports are about 2.5 hours (133 miles) from the Conference Center and Inn. NOTE: CLT is between Clemson and Charlotte whereas Atlanta is between ATL and Clemson -- during rush hours (after 4 pm any weekday), Atlanta city traffic can add up to 1 hr to your transit time! Fares to GSP are very reasonable with a Saturday stay-over and/or with sufficient lead-time.

There is an AMTRAK station located at the corner of Calhoun Memorial Highway and College Avenue in Clemson, station code CSN. The Crescent Route travels through Clemson with stops connecting New Orleans and New York City.

Local Transportation
The easiest way to get around campus and the surrounding areas is by riding Clemson Area Transit (CAT) busses. Always free, the CAT bus has routes that cover Clemson, Anderson, Pendleton, Seneca and Central. For more information, call (864) 654 2287.

Location and Directions
The Conference Center and Inn (photo gallery) is located in Clemson, a friendly college town in the Upstate of South Carolina. Visitors will enjoy the charm of Clemson and the surrounding area for dining and evening entertainment. Nearby Pendleton features quaint shops, dining and historic homes. The Conference Center complex offers 17,000 square feet of meeting space | 62 guest rooms and 27 suites offering spectacular views of either golf course or Hartwell Lake | 18-hole championship Walker Golf Course | Clemson dining including Seasons by the Lake Restaurant (currently CLOSED for refurbishment) , Joe's Place Lounge (currently CLOSED for refurbishment) and the Club House Grill (open throughout the day but NOT open for dinner) located beside the Pro Shop of the Walker Golf Course.
**Please note that due to some extensive refurbishment taking place at the Conference Center (see above) there are no restaurants serving dinner onsite. The Club House Grill is open daily and will provides sandwiches, burgers, etc but will not be open for dinner. Joe's Place Lounge will also be closed but we will provide a satellite bar from Monday through Thursday from 5:00-10:00pm, located in the connecting hallway between the Conference Center and the Inn. Clemson University's 1400 acres are home to a blend of historic building and advance research facilities surrounded by majestic trees and lush greenery. Landmarks such as Fort Hill, Sikes Hall and the Outdoor Theater provide an air of tradition.
Clemson also offers many cultural events. The Brooks Center for the Performing Arts, located on campus, presents concerts, musicals, plays and arts festivals. The South Carolina Botanical Garden, adjacent to the Walker Course, includes the Fran Hanson Discovery Center, more than 295 acres of natural vegetation and miles of trails with nature-based sculptures. The Bob Campbell Geology Museum features virtual and actual tours, and the Lee Gallery offers exhibits in a variety of media throughout the year.
