Session Abstract Industry update/overview of the local (South Carolina) RON and SC GigaPoP. C-Light is RON that runs between Atlanta, GA and Charlotte, NC (with add/drop sites in Clemson and Greenville, SC today). C-Light is in the process of expanding, due to a recent NSF ARI2 award. SC GigaPoP shares 10G I2 connection with MCNC in Charlotte and serves C-Light customers. Will also discuss how C-Light and SC GigaPoP ties into and serves members of the South Carolina Light Rail (SCLR).
