Why reserve a room at one of the two Fall Member Meeting hotels?
Fall 2011 Member Meeting attendees are strongly encouraged to stay at either the Raleigh Marriott City Center, or the Sheraton Raleigh Hotel. When you reserve within the Internet2 block you receive a discounted room rate; lodging conveniently located at the meeting venue; and you help Internet2 meet its commitments to the hotels. Because Internet2 receives a rebate on all rooms booked within the block, you also help keep the meeting registration fees low for the entire community.
Lodging is available for all events taking place within the block dates as specified below.

Guarantee and Cancellation Policy
All reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card. The hotel will not hold any reservation unless secured by one of the above methods. Cancellations must be made more than 48 hours prior to arrival. Cancellations made after this time will be charged for the first night of the reservation. An early departure fee of $75 applies to guests checking out prior to their departure date confirmed at check-in.

All rooms include high speed internet access and feature a work area with desk, an LCD television, and a Sheraton Sweet Sleeper™ Bed.
Personal Belongings
Please note that neither the Sheraton Raleigh Hotel nor Internet2 will be responsible for any property lost or stolen on hotel premises.

From East
Take Interstate 40 to Exit 298B (South Saunders Street).
Keep right to McDowell Street. Turn right onto Davie Street and then right onto Salisbury Street.

I40-E toward Raleigh. S Saunders St exit - 298B toward downtown. Merge onto S Saunders St, 401 N. Continue on 401 N. Turn right onto Lenoir St. Parking garage will be on left entrance side of the hotel off Lenoir St. For valet parking continue past the parking garage entrance and turn left onto Fayetteville St.

Explore and Save Money with the ZSpot SMART Card
There is much for you to see and do while you are attending the Internet2 Member Meeting and the NCREN Community Day. To help you get started stop by and meet Tourism Ambassadors from the Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau. They will be on hand at the Welcome Desk, located on Lobby Level 3, in the Raleigh Convention Center. Greater Raleigh Tourism Ambassadors will answer your questions about sampling restaurants, touring Raleigh's attractions, and generally finding your way around the area. While you are there, be sure to get your ZSpot SMART card. The SMART card is a complimentary gift from the Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau, and saves you money on over 300 businesses and restaurant. The desk will be manned between 12:00pm-6:00pm on Sunday October 2 through Wednesday October 5.
