Session Abstract We will present preliminary results from our latest DOE-sponsored research and development project on multi-domain Internet performance measurement. The content will mainly focus on sampling and analysis issues for network weather forecasting, anomaly detection and fault diagnosis being explored in our project. We will also fuel a discussion of ideas on leveraging existing efforts such as perfSONAR, Network Weather Service and ActiveMon, to deploy our sampling and analysis tools in ESnet's Network Weather & Performance Service E-Center.
