Session Abstract The Internet2 Teaching and Learning community continues to express increasing interest in educational uses of virtual worlds and gaming simulation environments. Today's panelists will provide an overview of emerging applications in this realm, a discussion of educational uses of the virtual world Second Life, and the status of the development framework Croquet as a platform for future virtual world and simulation applications.
