Performance and Master Class Production Workshop
January 28-30, 2007
Internet2 and the New World Symphony hosted a hands-on audio/video production workshop on 28-30 January 2007 on the campus of the New World Symphony in Miami Beach, FL. The workshop emphasized real-time experience connecting with remote sites over Internet2 advanced networks. Sessions included setting up incoming and outgoing audio, creating a multi-camera shoot, placing lights and projectors and operating codecs. This year's workshop included a demonstration of an interactive music coaching session, and explored the elements needed to produce everything from one-on-one to large stage productions. Participants had an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with the latest network testing tools developed by Internet2.
