Internet2 and Internet2 members are participating in SC07, the annual Supercomputing conference, taking place 10-16 November in Reno, Nevada. SC07 is expanding the frontiers of high-performance computing by challenging the combination of computation, networking, storage, and analysis and hosting an exceptional technical program, an expanded exhibits area, an exciting education program and much more. Internet2 Network Infrastructure at SC07
The Internet2 Network will be available at the conference, supporting the high-performance networking needs of the Research and Education Community. If you have application requirements for network connectivity, let us know how we can assist you. Internet2 is providing:
- Two 10 Gbps links to the IP Network
- One 10 Gbps link to the Dynamic Circuit (DC) Network
Additionally, Internet2 is provisioning 9 more dedicated waves to support networking requirements for planned demonstrations.
Connection Information
A basic SCinet connection on the SC show floor will provide access to the Internet2 IP Network.
Send connection requests for the Internet2 DC Network to network@internet2.edu. Additionally, a dark fiber connection from the participant booth to Internet2 should be requested through the SCinet Connection Request System when it becomes available.
