Innovations in Interactive HD Video Over High-Bandwidth Networks

Session Abstract Real-time, high-resolution, high-definition communication with very low latency among multiple sites as a means of fostering global scholarly collaborations is a significant goal. ResearchChannel engineers lastest investigations have resulted in innovative developments in software-based routing and display manageent of multi-source video content. Recent demonstration results, problems encountered, and lessons learned in the real-time high-resolution communication space. The presentation will include descriptions of the systems used, preparations at the remote sites and how problems were overcome.
