April 25, 2006, 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Location: Salon K

   Kevin Amorin, Harvard University
Dustin Brown, University of Kansas  [pdf]

Session Abstract The RINGS/NetAuth session will address topical issues in security related to network security. Dustin Brown will present on RINGS (ResNet Integrated Next Generation Solution). RINGS provides a complete, scalable open source system incorporating goals set forth in the Internet2 Salsa-Netauth working group. RINGS provides the full range of security, access and management tools IT security teams need to get their job done effectively. Kevin Amorin will discuss recent developments from the Internet2 Salsa NetAuth working group. The NetAuth WG is investigating data requirements, implementation, integration, and automation technologies associated with understanding and extending network security management.
