Spring 2006 Internet2 Member Meeting Network Story

Internet2 Community sponsors and supporters key to Member Meeting success.

The Spring 2006 Internet2 Member Meeting is a showcase for the collaborative efforts of its members.  The network for the meeting owes its success to numerous member contributions.  Chuck Wolfe of Georgetown University and Dan Magorian of Mid-Atlantic Crossroads (MAX) provided leadership and worked to ensure that the networking infrastructure was properly implemented.  Special thanks is also due to the Georgetown UIS NTM group that worked long hours in establishing and supporting the network.

Yet, there would be no network without important hardware and software resources.  Hewlett-Packard played a significant role in supporting the meeting by providing 2800, and 5300 class switches used in the core and in connection of the session rooms.

We greatly appreciate the Crystal Gateway Marriott Hotel and STSN for their continued accommodation and assistance in making the Spring 2006 Internet2 Member Meeting a success.

Our thanks go out to all of these organizations and individuals!
