Demo Location
The demos take place in Hyatt Regency McCormick Place, Chicago, Illinois, the location
of the fall member meeting.
Demo Setup and Schedule
During the Member Meeting week, the demo schedule is as follows.
We will adjust the schedule based on how much prep work is done
in advance, demonstrator travel schedules, conference program changes,
etc. Demos must be staffed at all times during the open
hours.

Demonstrators are responsible for paying for their own rooms and should book their own rooms through the hotel. The conference hotel rate is still available on a first come, first served basis. Badges and Registration
All demonstrators are required to register for the meeting. Please contact Elaine
Lauerman so she can provide you with a special registration
code to use when filling out the online registration form. This
code ensures that you will not be charged the registration fee.
When you arrive at the Hyatt, you will receive a demonstration badge, which you will be required to wear. Demonstration badges will be distributed to all demonstrators at the Internet2 registration desk at the Hyatt. In order to ensure that a badge will be waiting for you, and for all members of your demo team, please make sure to have each individual register for the meeting. Please wear your badge at all times during the meeting, and also during setup and breakdown.
IP Addresses
Elaine Lauerman will be
supplying IP addresses for demoers in a separate email.
Food
We will provide selected meals for demonstration team members
only. If you have any food allergies or other special needs (e.g.
vegetarian) let Elaine Lauerman know so we can accommodate you.
What to Wear
Business casual attire for the demonstrations, meeting sessions,
and receptions is appropriate.
Equipment Tear Down
Please note that your demo equipment must be packed and removed
from the demo exhibit area by 12:00pm on Thursday, 7 December.
Shipping and Receiving
The Hyatt has established the following procedures
for shipping and receiving convention materials. Your
cooperation in adhering to these procedures will provide
for efficient handling of your materials.
Packages will be stored in the hotel storage area until they're asked to be delivered. There are charges for handling/storage and it's based on weight. The hotel and Internet2 accept no liability for lost, stolen or damaged goods. Packages may be shipped to the hotel NOT MORE THAN ONE WEEK PRIOR TO THE MEETING.
