Internet2 Community sponsors and supporters key to
Member Meeting success.
The Spring 2005 Internet2 Member Meeting is a showcase for
the collaborative efforts of its members. The network for the
meeting owes its success to numerous member contributions.
Chuck Wolfe of Georgetown University and
Dan Magorian of Mid-Atlantic Crossroads (MAX)
provided leadership and worked to ensure that the networking
infrastructure was properly implemented. Special thanks also
go to the Georgetown
University Information
Systems Network Technology Management
group that worked
long hours in establishing and supporting the network.
Yet, there would be no network without important hardware
and software resources. Hewlett-Packard played
a significant role in supporting the meeting by providing 2800,
and 5300 class switches used in the core and in connection
of the session rooms. We again would like to thank Ixia for
their test equipment that aids us in the network setup.
We greatly appreciate the Crystal Gateway Marriott Hotel and
STSN for their continued accommodation and assistance in making
the Spring 2005 Internet2 Member Meeting a success.
Our thanks go out to all of these organizations and individuals!
