Spring 2004 Internet2 Member Meeting

Call for Poster Sessions

April 19-21, 2004

Arlington, Virginia

The call for presenting a poster session at the Spring 2004 Member Meeting in Arlington, Virginia, April 19–21, 2004, is now available for response. The spring meeting traditionally highlights Internet2's partnerships among academia, industry, government and the international community. Key areas of focus for Spring 2004 include cyber infrastructure initiatives, cooperative funding arrangements among federal agencies, global e-science collaborations, security on high-performance networks, as well as presentations of advanced applications underway on member campuses, deployment of middleware capabilities, and advancements in the K/20 community. Participants at the spring meeting are expected to come from wide range of communities and disciplines. Information about the meeting can be found at http://events.internet2.edu/2004/spring-mm/

Poster sessions are a consciously low-tech forum for the exchange of information and ideas about collaborations, projects and works-in-progress. Stories are conveyed by the use of graphs, diagrams, pictures, data, and narrative text displayed on ~4' x 3' corkboard. Participants informally discuss their presentations with meeting attendees during the staffed hours for poster sessions, usually breaks and mealtimes.

Regular, Corporate, and Affiliate members and international MOU partners are welcome to submit proposals for Poster Sessions.
