Reservations for this event are to be made by individual attendees directly with the Wilshire Grand Hotel & Centre. To obtain the conference rate, you must call the reservation number listed above and be sure to reference the Internet2 block.

Block Rates:

• $125.00 (single or double occupancy)--Standard Accommodations
• $145.00 (single or double occupancy)--Executive Level
• $250.00 (single or double occupancy)--Parlor & One-bedroom suite
• $350.00 (single or double occupancy)--Parlor & Two-bedroom suite
• Additional person charge: $20.00
• Early departure fee: $55.00 (guests wishing to avoid an early departure fee should advise the hotel at or before check-in of any change planned in the length of stay)
• Current tax rate: 14.045% (subject to change)
  

Reservation/Guarantee Policy:
In order to confirm a reservation, a one night's deposit or credit card guarantee is required. Checks are refundable up to 72 hours in advance. Credit Cards will only be charged in the event the reservation is not cancelled at least 24 hours prior to scheduled arrival date.

Block Dates: Thursday October 24 through and including Thursday October 31, 2002
The above rates will be extended three days before and three days after our block dates, subject to availability.

Location: Situated in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, providing access to the city´s business district, entertainment industry centers, commercial hubs and just 20 minutes from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

Guest Rooms:
All guestrooms are spacious and handsomely appointed with a variety of amenities including writing desk, refreshment center, remote-control TV, coffee maker, three telephones (including two with multi-line and speakerphone capabilities), ironing board and iron, hair dryer, and clock radio. Executive level guests enjoy premium guestroom amenities including oversized bathrobes, free daily ice delivery, satin hangars, and `over toweled´ bathrooms. Executive level guests may also take advantage of late check-out, express pressing service, daily newspaper, turndown service, and preferred reservations for hotel restaurants.

Fitness Center:
State-of-the-art fitness center, complimentary for all in-house guests. The center offers the full compliment of excercise equipment, including weight machines, lifecycles, stairmasters and treadmills. In addition, an outdoor sundeck, including heated swimming pool and hydrotherapy pool is adjacent to the fitness center. The center is open seven days a week, 24 hours a day. The swimming pool and hydrotherapy pool are also open 24 hours daily, weather permitting.

Restaurants & Dining:
Ther Wilshire Grand offers a unique collection of international cuisine, including Cardini Ristorante, featuring award-winning Northern Italian cuisine in a contemporary, elegant atmosphere; City Grill with American favorites in a warm but stately atmosphere; Seoul Jung, with outstanding Korean cuisine; authentic Japanese cuisine at Kyoto; Point Moorea, a high-energy bar with pool tables, private room and video wall. 24 hour guest room dining is also available.

Business Center:
The Wilshire Grand offers a full-service business center Monday through Saturday. Secretarial and translation services are available, as are package shipping, faxing and computer workstations.

International Service:
An AT&T language line provides translation service 24 hours a day, while the Wilshire Grand´s multi-lingual Concierge and Front Desk staff are available on the premises.

Transportation and Parking
From the Airport, Super Shuttle: $14.50 one way (subject to change)
Taxi: Approximately $27.00 (5 person maximum)
Parking: Valet parking is available for $24.00 per day for in-house guests.

Driving Directions:
From Los Angeles International Airport:
Take Sepulveda Boulevard to 105 (Century) Freeway East; to 110 (Harbor) Freeway North; exit at 9th Street; turn right on 9th Street to Figueroa Street; turn left on Figueroa Street. Proceed two blocks north to the hotel.
