Attendance Policy
Attendance at Member Meetings is a benefit of membership
in Internet2. Member Meetings are working meetings where representatives
from universities, corporations, government, research labs,
educational organizations, and international networking organizations
come together to share progress and continue formulating plans
for future work. Details of the attendance policy for Internet2
Member Meetings are as follows:
Each Internet2 member is allocated a specific number of complimentary
registrations at each Member Meeting, depending on the type
of membership:
- University Members: 3
- Corporate Partners: 5
- Corporate Sponsors: 4
- Corporate Members: 3
- Affiliate Members: 3
Registrations in excess of a member's allocation incur a
registration fee of $350 per person. The invoice will be sent
to the member organization's executive liaison following the
meeting.
Representatives from International MOU Partner organizations
pay a $200 registration fee per attendee. There is no limit
on the number of people who can attend from an MOU Partner.
The registration fee is payable in advance or on-site.
Individuals from non-profit organizations that are not Internet2
members can attend Member Meetings, and will pay a $700 registration
fee per person. The registration fee is payable in advance
or on-site. Individuals from for-profit organizations that
are not Internet2 members should contact Jill Arnold (jillar@internet2.edu)
for registration approval prior to registering.
Session speakers, demonstrators, and others making significant
contributions to the Member Meeting (such as local host staff)
are not counted against the member's allocation. Members of
Internet2 Advisory Councils also do not count against a member's
allocation.
